The Lara Medical Centre employs a number of friendly reception and nursing staff, without whom the practice could not exist.
Our Practice manager is Kim Conway.
Our reception duties are shared between Donna, Helen, Joanne, Rebecca, Renee, Jenna, Denise, Susan and Kim.
Our Registered nurses are Donna, Shelley, Gillian, Emily, Kirralee, Gabby, Melissa, Patrice and Carole. They have extensive general practice experience. They are available from 9am to 5pm Wednesday & Friday, and from 9am – 6pm Monday Tuesday & Thursday, to assist with immunisations, dressings, health assessments and general enquiries.
Gillian, Shelley and Emily specialise in Health Assessments for those over 75 years old.
Kirralee and Carole specialises in Management Plans and Team Care Arrangements.
Emily and Gabby specialises in Asthma Management Plans.
Donna specialises in Cardiovascular Management Plans.

Patients are responsible for claiming workcover charge from employer.
An additional $5 will be charged if the account is not paid on the day of consultation.
The Medicare rebate is refunded instantly into your bank account. There is no need to visit a Medicare office to claim the Medicare rebate.
Fees are generally below Australian Medical Association (AMA) recommended rates. Longer and more complex consultations may attract a higher fee. If you are referred to another doctor or specialist, you should consult with your doctor about associated fees and costs.
Fees are payable at the time of consultation, by cash, EFTPOS, or credit card. Fees are displayed in the waiting room and can be discussed with the receptionists or doctors. If you are having difficulty paying your fees, please talk to your doctor.
